Old Fashion Elderberry Wine
Elderberries are commonly found in Lafayette County, the home of Odessa’s Country Winery. Elderberry wine is made from an old recipe using thousands of tiny deep purple berries. These berries are formed in clusters which grow as small umbrella shapes in late August. Elderberry wine is a favorite nightcap for many of our customers. Its highly distinctive flavor is rich and luxurious in your mouth. Try this recipe: make a spritzer by mixing with equal parts cherry cola over ice.
